Living Life In Balance
Controlling, even reversing your Pre-Diabetic and Type 2 Diabetic condition requires moderation or living life in balance.
Diabetic balance means:
- Diet
Having diabetes doesn't mean you can't eat foods you love. But you need to choose yoiur foods carefully (lean rather than fatty meats, weets on a very limited basis, high fiber, low sodium ingredients)
- Exercise
Moderate rather strenuous exercise to help control blood sugar level and lower weight
- Weight Loss
1,500-1,800 calories per day, not crash diet, sub-1,200 calorie per day diets
If you keep moderation in mind, you'll be able to lower your weight and blood sugar level and live a fairly normal life. To help achieve a good balance in your life, go to the Books section on this website.
You'll find Dr. Jon Leonard's book, Live Longer Now: The First 100 Years of Your Life. It has lots of tips, suggestions and advice for eating, exercising and losing weight. You can download it now. And it's FREE!
